January 2, 2022: Reconstruction of the site is complete, I hope, almost every page was missing images. If you ever see pages with missing images or errors, let me know at [email protected]. I don’t routinely check the pages, so error and omissions can go a long time before they are noticed. It could be the computer took it upon itself to trash those images that were not displaying on MS Edge, it seems to be working fine now that I reloaded the images.
December 23, 2021: Discovered a huge problem with the website, a large number of images are missing from the media file, backups only go back 30 days and the problem occurred before that. So, I have all the files and a copy of the website, so I have to find and reload them one at a time, it will take time, if you notice a problem with the website, once it is fixed in about a month (will post when complete), let me know so I can reload from the backup.

Deleted the 67th Association membership roster and updated the membership demographics page to include all 50 states. Have almost finished working with the 67th photo pages, only the two people pages remain to update. Since I don’t know many of the people I have to rely on the file name of the photos for the annotations, generally organizing by date, newest first. Added a NRO interactive graphic of the KH-4 satellite to the Tools of the Trade, The Photo Interpreter sub-page. Flipped the picture of the 1401 computer on the 67th History page when I found it was inverted when double checking the computer model.

August 26, 2013: Thought I had the Guest Book problem solved, but now I find it is not. It is taking two tries to send a Guest Book Comment, on the first try you get an error message “Please don’t fill in a hidden text email field”, you then enter the security script at the bottom again on the comment with the error message and it will go on the second try. Have asked GoDaddy for help, see what happens.
August 24, 2013: Fixed a problem with the Guest Book, which apparently has been broke since 2010, thought just no comments til I looked at the date of the last comment, it appears to be up and working now.

May 22, 2013: Regrettably I added another former Commander of the 548 RTG to the In Memoriam page. Col Paul A. FitzGerald passed away on February 14, 2012. He was the last commander I had not been able to locate, I found a potential lead on Ancestry.com and sent his son a email to confirm he was the right Paul A. FitzGerald and learned of his death in his reply. See details on the Tributes sub-page of the In-Memoriam page. Also updated the History page with the capital “G” in his name.

As part of our building dedication we are creating graphic time lines outlining the 548th ISRG’s history. SSgt Boldand is the POC for the timeline displays. SSgt Boland and I are looking for images from WWII-to present. Would you please ask members of the 548th RTG if they have any images that would like incorporated into these displays?
If anyone has any images, I request that they send them to us in a digital format and include a caption of the image.
Also, once we’ve compiled all the images and captions we will forward them to Mr. Lent, the 480th ISR Wing Historian, for further archival.

January 18, 2013: Researched and updated several missing date of deaths entries on the In Memoriam page. Located the date of death and obituary for Anne Bazzell, who was added to the page in January 2010. She married Raymond Pantel in November 2003 after the death of her husband Basil Bazzell in 1989, which made locating the information difficult.

October 21, 2012: Merged in Debbie and Charles Harding’s banquet photos. Have a little more time now after my 94 year old step-mom, who broke her hip on September 6th, while visiting us from Michigan, was transferred Friday (19th) from Tripler to a rehab facility in Kapolei, five minutes from us. We were told by the doctors several times she was not going to live, but she is a tough old lady and pulled through.
October 1, 2012: I have not had time to update the site recently, My 94 year old Step-Mom was visiting us from Michigan, fell, and broke her hip, had hip replacement surgery and has been in Tripler for several weeks now, outllook still in question.

Once the bank account is verfied by PAYPAL, I will put the store online to sell the 548th coins and when I get the pricing for the reunion, I will also post it in the store for easy payment. The price of using credit cards is prohibitive, so online payment will be by PAYPAL only, will also accept checks by mail.
