I'm working at Vencore on a proposal with Jeff Bartolucci to staff analyst for work at NGA. Anyway, found out that he worked at the 548th and turned me on to the site. It's great to see some familiar names from the my time there (76-79) and looking forward to doing some catch up. I was really saddened to hear the Chief Hubbard had passed. He was one great guy and got me into marathon running. I saw a picture of Steve Brightbill, who led our small group back then. The entire daily briefing team consisted of Steve, myself, Walt Govern and Bruce Adams. I believe Walt lives near Harrisburg PA and not sure where Bruce is. If anyone has their contact info, please pass it on. A-hole, Joe Weller, I know you're out there.

As a "customer" of your products and information at Misawa in the 1980s I can say they were truly outstanding - it wasn't the same after you folded the flag at the "end" of the Cold War. On a separate note, am looking for information on Itami AB, and wonder if you might have members who were assigned there.

Just stopping by to say hi. 1972-1976 - Admin - I remember we won a lot of basketball titles, and softball too I think. Anyone out there from that time frame?

I wouldn't mind hearing from any of the old 548th gang...1988-91.

Arrived at Yokota AB, 6th Photo Tech, (under FEAF HQ in Tokyo), in February 1947 and spent a combined total of eight years in the 6th Photo and 548th RTS housed in Bldg 206. In 1958, was assigned to the 67th RTG at Yokota as a member of their Inspector General Team for five years. During this five year period, my home base was Misawa AB in northern Japan where I was assigned to the 45th TRS which was a flying squadron with RF-101 aircraft. In between 45th TRS deployments(which were many), I supported the IG Team as a photo and logistics inspector/advisor when deployed to different parts of Asia.

Joe: I am afraid "sense of humor" can be relative amongst us. I was asked not to post some of the underground stuff we used to publish. If you can get my eMail address from the Webmaster, i can send you some good ones.

Tom Kenney, I saw where you say you had a lot of Pictures form long ago, seems just like yesterday....... Anywho, send them to this site so everyone can see them, I'll look around. Also have you ever seen Bernie Marouz(sp), while you've been on Oahau?

I remember those days, especially when everyone was young and running wild in Waikiki. I sure would like to see some of the 1st shirts names, espesally when Schatzly was the big cheese. Did you stay in Hawaii? I was there 30 years later for a mailman convention, but had to stay in my hotel room from a bad case of bronchitis.Well I'll be at this years reunion in DC. Take care and maybe see you .....
